Baby Photos KC | Ava is Happy to be One!

My first time meeting Ava was to celebrate her first birthday. One of my very favorite milestones to capture. She was already walking and truckin it around the studio checking everything out from the second her feet hit the floor. I wish I had a fraction of that kind of energy!

She was more than happy to make outfit changes and smile for the camera. Well, I need to take that back. This girl didn’t just smile, her face just lit up. Her eyes smiled and she proudly displayed those brand new teeth of hers. All the cutting up was definitely thanks to her momma and grandma who were behind me telling all of her favorite jokes. It is so funny what words and phrases strike just the right note with a one year old’s sense of humor. I can tell this two ladies will do anything to get Ava to laugh.

I really couldn’t have hoped for a sweeter girl or a better session. We flew through the sets and really tore it up with the cake smash. This girl loooooved her cake! I think she practically ate the whole thing. None of that business of just sticking her finger in the frosting. Such a good time!
