Maverick is one of my Baby Love planners. We shot his newborn session and nailed one of my favorite froggy poses ever. Hop on over to my Facebook page and check him out on my timeline image. He’s the cutie wearing the monkey hat! I usually shoot my Baby Love sessions at four, eight and twelve months but he joined me for his milestone sessions at the six month marker. For a six month old I felt like he was pretty awesome at sitting up, actually he rocked it. This kid is solid for sure!

Love the 6-8 month markers when babies are really looking, smiling and interacting during the session…so much fun! His momma got him the adorable hat to commemorate this milestone. I may have to add one of those crowns to my prop stash (I have issues and have been called a propaholic ). I know some photographer’s like to plan every little detail of every session. I have fun with it too, definitely, but I don’t see anything wrong with bringing special props along to incorporate too.
