Twin Photographer Kansas City | Double Adorable
I had the pleasure of photographing Greyson and Vivienne, the son and daughter of a former classmate of mine. It is always such a fun session each and every time I get to photograph the baby of someone I have known before I began this photography adventure. In this case, before I even was an adult. I knew Lindsey in high school and it really is strange working for clients who knew me way back then. Like who would have guessed when we were on yearbook staff I would be holding your babies at two weeks old, capturing their first photos. Really weird for me to think about! And to know that we would both end up being the mom of twins. Very cool.
These two were great sleepers and posed together perfectly. I always shoot a “mini” session for each twin alone and they both rocked their solo poses as well. Lindsey gave me free rein to shoot whatever I liked and I decided to stick to a mostly neutral palette while pulling in the teal from their nursery rug. Vivienne looks pretty fierce in her headband, don’t you think?
I am definitely a Swaddler when it comes to parent poses, especially with twins. Not only can they be diapered (yay for not getting pooped on), but they will generally stay in that very sleepy state that is so critical for family shots. It is definitely challenging, and sometimes impossible, to shoot an awake baby(ies) for a group shot. So swaddling saves the day every time. And I have to say these are some of my very favorite twin family images.
Thank you, Lindsey and Q for trusting me with your precious babes. I hope you love these images as much as I do.
