Haven and Sibling Setups| Lees Summit Newborn Photographers
A newborn session with Anna Marie Photography isn’t always predictable. But, over 10 years of posed newborn photography experience, our studio has the ability to roll with it. Each baby is unique, each family is unique. We do our best to adapt to fit the needs of the session. Adaptability isn’t just something that happens, it’s the experience that makes the difference. Also, knowing when a baby just isn’t going to go into a pose comes with the experience of photographing hundreds of babies. Additionally, we’ve learned how to create an environment that helps baby feel soothed, that helps mama relax and helps siblings get comfortable in the space (snacks help ;). In fact, Haven’s bigger sister Emery helped make this session a success!
Haven’s big sis Emery was a sibling setup for the books! She did so great being photographed and listening to directions. You can see the sisterly bond of the girls already. She’s proud to be a big sister and it shows. Not all toddlers (let’s face it, most toddlers) don’t like sitting still, let alone holding a newborn baby. However, if you plan to have your newborn photographed with older siblings, just know that this process can sometimes be challenging. We do our best to work with each family to get those first images of life long friends together. This process can definitely be a group effort, and can sometimes take a little bit of time, but the end results are worth it!

“Anna-Marie’s patience with our baby girl was unbelievable. Haven wasn’t the easiest (or sleepiest) baby to photograph, but somehow the pictures all turned out amazing. We have worked with Anna-Marie for all picture purposes for 3 years now and would never want anybody else to shoot our babies. Her patience, talent, and eye for great shots are unbeatable.”
