Stella was the perfect cake smash baby. She gave us plenty of smiles during the portrait portion of our session. And when it was time for cake, she did what she came to do, eat cake. And she loved it. So much so that it was a little challenging to get eye contact once she realized how awesome the cake was. Luckily though, mom was up for the challenge and worked hard to get some grins while I captured the moment.

Then into the splash tub for some fun with bubbles and easy clean-up for the birthday girl. She loved the bubbles almost as much as she loved her cake. We offer a splash add-on to all of our smash sessions. It’s cute and practical for clean-up.

These sessions take a lot of planning but go by so quickly once we are shooting. We don’t waste any time and have the session flow down to a science. We have been working with babies for 12 years and very very rarely have to wrap before we have exactly what we need for a gallery.
