So guys, this is Connor. You shouldn’t actually be meeting him until sometime in February, but Connor has things to do. The whole world to conquer so he got a head start on it. As you can see he is already a bit concerned about life in general as he is rockin the major forehead wrinkles in every photo. A man of few words (for now) but surely big things are on the horizon for this little guy.

Not only did I have the pleasure of meeting Connor but also his awesome parents, Abby and Shane.

Abby and Shane were gifted the newborn session at their baby shower so they had not exactly chosen me. And that makes me super nervous. Because your baby’s first photos are something very personal and a once in a lifetime session. Any time the parents aren’t in on the “choosing me” part this girl gets nervous. Like we have agreed to a blind date of sorts. We don’t really know each other at all, but we are going to have to do this whether we want to or not. Our friends said we are perfect for each other!

I have no idea if they have seen my work…or worse even like my work.

The stress! The pressure! What if I blow the whole thing and they hate me. And then the friend who gifted the session hates me too? I don’t even know what to wear! Too much, too much!

So now that it is over and done with I am breathing a big sigh of relief because it turns out that Abby and Shane are pretty much as cool as can be. They are super sweet parents and easy to talk to. They love their baby to the moon and back and appreciate quality photography. So, like the best possible scenario as far as blind date sessions could go. I am hoping for a second “date” not too far in the future!
