KaMora and I had the best time shooting together. She slept, I posed her and dressed her in adorable headbands and hats. When she got a little sad we snuggled until she was happy again.

Best two hours of my day. I love spending my time with sweet little babes like this one.

I feel so blessed getting to do a job I love and capturing this fleeting time in a baby’s life. I know newborn photography isn’t a priority for every family. I appreciate that. And I know I don’t fit everyone’s style or budget. I appreciate that as well. But that doesn’t stop me from wanting to have every baby born in Kansas City as my client. Insane, yes I know. But I love what I do that much. I want to meet your baby. And you. I want to hear your story. I want to know your family.

Yes, this is my job and I get paid to do it. I am just like everyone else. I have bills to pay and a family that I am working hard for. This isn’t a hobby for me or just a few extra bucks in my pocket. I am a small business owner and I take this very seriously. But that doesn’t make me love it or your baby any less. Once you are my client I remember you forever. I don’t forget our session or what we talked about and shared. Yes, I get mixed up in emails now and then. I am busy and trying to keep a million things straight all the time. But I will never forget you. Ever.

You don’t have to remind me who you are when you email me for the one year session. Once I meet your baby you are part of my AMP family.

So when I hash tag my instagram #bringmeyourbabies, yeah I’m being a little silly. But seriously, bring me your babies. To photograph, to love, to be part of my life that I truly love.
