Kansas City Newborn Photography | Introducing Naomi

Kansas City Newborn Photography | Introducing Naomi

This squishy baby girl came to see me just shy of one month old.  I generally meet my newborn clients before or on the 14 day marker, but occasionally we shoot a bit older.  Sometimes it proves to be challenging, with baby being a bit more wakeful or less likely to relax into the pose flow.  But not this time.  Naomi was dream.

She was sleepy and peaceful and easily posed.  I am sure she hit every one of the poses in my usual pose flow, so I was happy to give her momma gallery with a lot of variety.  The images I chose to present in this post really show off her size and squishiness.  Definite emphasis on those baby rolls and cheeks of hers.  I personally love the bear bonnet shot the best.

I always shoot this particular shot on the second fabric and usually prefer a bonnet to accentuate the cheeks.  Even the tiniest of babes can rock the chipmunk cheek look in this shot.

We finished up this session focusing on family.  Big sister Audrey was so awesome.  Took direction and held her sister like such a big girl. I love her dark curls on that soft yellow dress.  They both look absolutely precious in their shots together.  Hope their momma loves them as much as I do!
