When we started working with Harvey’s mama for his session, she wanted simple and clean. We can do that! We love working with colors, but there is just something about a classic, clean, and simple look to a session that is timeless. It helps when mama is so gorgeous too!
When babies smile
Harvey flashed a couple of little grins during his newborn portrait session. We’re amazed how babies can be so new and they still have the ability to form those sweet little mouths into a smile.

“Our newborn session and subsequent “sitter session” with Anna were both amazing. Anna does a great job of listening to her clients. So that at the end of the day, you get a session that is truly tailored to your personal taste and style.
For the newborn shoot, I was surprised at how easy the day went! My husband, mother, and I waited in Anna’s waiting room, where we snacked and watched Netflix. I left my son (who was 6 days old at the time) in Anna’s good hands, and never had a moment’s hesitation about that. I felt 100% comfortable with the entire process. It was SO much fun to be surprised by some of the images later. The much needed R&R time was an unexpected little perk as well!
I also have to say that I was amazed at how great our family photos turned out. I was not one of those women who hated being pregnant — I loved it! But, let’s face it, no matter how great you felt in pregnancy, the first couple weeks postpartum are strange body-wise. That said, I felt beautiful that day, and Anna managed to pose me in a way that looked totally natural and that made me look fantastic. I just love all of the photos from that day — even the ones I’m in, which took me by surprise. All-in-all, Anna is a professional through and through, and she does beautiful work. I’m so happy we found her!”
