Cake Smash sessions have become all the rave with Mission Hills cake smash photographer Anna Marie. Why wouldn’t they? Baby’s are so cute when they are rounding the one year mark. They come in all chubby cheeks and legs. And the smiles! Most babies are all about their cake smash session.
Our cake smash sessions are one of our most popular options for babies. The session not only includes the unique and fun smash setup, it includes a portrait session. For your session, you’ll choose the outfits and we do the rest. We have hundreds of backdrop choices to match your portrait setup outfit.
For the smash setup, you’ll just let us know what theme you have in mind and we will do all the planning. Typically each session includes an over the top smash setup, but if you want simple we can do that too. Just let us know what you have in mind and we’ll plan accordingly.
Many of our clients get their smash theme idea from our Facebook page. We are happy to replicate a theme, just let know what your favorite is.
There are times when a client may bring in a specific prop from their baby’s nursery or something that Mom really wanted from Etsy. So we’ll let you know if a prop didn’t belong to the studio when you request a theme that it was used for.
Are there times that baby just isn’t having it? Well, yes, yes of course. There are some sessions that baby is tired, over being dressed and undressed and has no interest what so ever in that cake. We do our best to capture as many images as possible from your session, but keep in mind that not every session will go as planned. We are happy to schedule a re-shoot with your family for an additional setup fee, but in most cases the magic happens on the first go round!
