Oak Grove Newborn Photography | Sarah is so Sweet
Not all Oak Grove newborn photography sessions go quite as planned. This shouldn’t be too much of a shocker considering the people being photographed have just been welcomed into the world. There is no way to completely plan for a session. Each session is unique as much as each baby is completely different. We do our best to be on our game for each session though. After ten years of photographing babies you pick up a few tricks on how to make a session run as smooth as possible.
During our sessions, we attempt to make the room comfortable for baby. Warning, babies like to be warm. This means that we keep our studio around 80 degrees during a newborn sessions. Yes, even in the summer. So when you’ve booked a newborn session with our studio keep in mind that you’ll want to dress accordingly.
No worries, we have a wonderful parent room that doesn’t get quite so warm and includes a tv, wifi and snacks. We’ve had numerous parents doze off during their session. We don’t blame them, we encourage it! How often do you get to nap after a new baby arrives? Take the opportunity while your little one is in good hands.
Speaking of good hands, Anna has often been named the “baby whisperer”. This little nickname comes from hundreds of babies being soothed to sleep. Not all babies give in to the whisperer though. Such was the case with miss Sarah. Although she is the cutest, she didn’t quite want to work for us the first go round. After returning to the studio for a take two she let us get in a few super cute setups.
Although we attempt to get every newborn session done with one trip to the studio, it doesn’t always happen this way. We want you to know that we will do whatever we can to make sure that you receive the best images of your baby! If that means that they need to return we will sometimes offer this option for families.
