Have you been thinking that you need to book your newborn session? Pregnancy brain is real thing! We’ve been there. You have so many items on your to do list it’s exhausting. We don’t want you to fret about your newborn booking experience. When you contact our studio you’ll have a reply usually within a couple hours to your questions. We are happy to help answer any questions that you have about a newborn session with our studio.
Once you’ve had a chance to ask any questions and you’re ready to book it’s as simple as a click of a button. You’ll receive a retainer invoice to secure your spot on our calendar for your due date month. Once you’ve secured your due date month, we just wait until baby arrives. This is your time to get all of those other things checked off your list.
When baby arrives we like to hear from you within 48 hours. If it’s your first baby, you may not really know what to expect at the hospital. Once baby comes it’s a little crazy for a few hours. Lots of nurses in and out, and not much sleep. Then things start to settle in and you’ll have some free time in between baby feedings. This is your chance to shoot us an email letting us know that baby has arrived.
We’ll give you a few dates on our calendar that are available to shoot your newborn session. We usually like to get your family into the studio when baby is between 10-12 days old. This isn’t always possible, so no worries. We will shoot a newborn session as early as 7 days old up to 14 days old.
We also offer a petite newborn session which can work well for babies that are older than the 14 day mark. These sessions are shorter and baby is wrapped in the images, which helps keep them asleep.
