Twin babies in the Studio

Having twin babies in the studio is always a fun and challenging session. These types of sessions require an assistant to accommodate all of the baby feedings and swapping of poses. Twin sessions can be a little intimidating as you have no idea how well the session will go. Not only do you have the chance that one baby could be fussy, you have the chance that TWO babies will be fussy! This session went so smoothly, we felt like a well oiled machine. One that rocks with babies. We fell into such a groove with feeding babies and handing them off to each other during the session.
It is so important to make sure that you book your newborn session with a seasoned newborn photographer. When you book your session with someone who not only has great success with single baby sessions, but who also has much experience in photographing multiples. We have had numerous twin babies grace our studio and even a couple triplet babies. Irene and Emilie
During this session Irene and Emilie decided that they wanted to eat often. Note: baby is not going to stay on their feeding schedule during a newborn session. When they are being dressed, undressed, posed and wrapped it tends to make them think they want to eat. So during this session we spent an ample amount of time just feeding the babies. Miraculously, we were still able to get them into so many poses together. It’s difficult to keep two babies asleep, let alone place them next to each other asleep. Check out their images below.
