Newborn Photos KC | Introducing Maggie
First, I should start out by saying that I am absolutely not a birth photographer. I am terrified by the commitment and the hours and the flexibility it takes to even consider being a birth photographer. That job is so intense. And at this point in my life it is never going to happen. I am just a newborn photographer who is easily persuaded by her clients to do things she may not normally do. Especially if it is Christmas time. And if I am off the week of the due date. And the hospital is five minutes from my house. And if you are Alison and you ask really nice.
The birth of little Maggie marks the fourth birth I have photographed in my nine year career. She is the only little girl that I have witnessed being born that wasn’t my niece. The only baby I have seen take her first breath that wasn’t born to one of my sisters. The only first cry that I have heard that I don’t call family. She is a pretty special client. I am considering making her call me Auntie Anna. I really don’t feel like that is too much to ask.
Thank you for choosing me to capture this amazing day Alison and Frank. I am so happy to have your family as a part of our studio family. I couldn’t ask for kinder, sweeter people to work for. I hope to capture your memories for years to come.
