Kansas City Infant Portraits | Sweet Mia
We recently went on a short vacation to Florida and it was so much fun. We had been trying to take this vacation for a year, but just like everyone else’s vacation, ours was canceled. Multiple times. Thanks, Covid. I am so thankful that we were finally able to make it happen and take a little break away from our busy schedules and the day-to-day errands and lists. We had perfect weather, no rain, mask mandate lifted the day we arrived. It really couldn’t have been better.
I had a super busy three weeks leading up to our departure and Mia was one of the last newborns I photographed before I left. She was such a perfect little squish. I was obsessed with her cheeks and red hair. You wouldn’t know it from these photos but this lady was very particular. Once she was settled, don’t even consider moving her. Even an inch or she would let you know about it.
Strangely enough, she was happiest in the bucket and tiny bed. I personally consider a bucket shot to be the most challenging to get a baby posed in, so when she settled right in I am pretty sure I actually clapped my hands. We finished the session with family, siblings, posed table shots, and props. It just took time and some patience.
I’m so glad Mia tolerated me interrupting her naptime because I got some captures that are beyond adorable. Check this sweetie out!
