Baby Photographers Kansas City | Leena Baby Love Session
Leena is in my Baby Love plan which means I get to see her three times during the year for her milestone sessions. I also had the opportunity to shoot her newborn session, which she rocked, by the way. She showed up sleepy in the car seat and that gone go one of two ways. One, “I am so mad you woke me up from my nap”. Or, in Leena’s case, “That short nap was all I needed to be a total superstar”. And she totally was…a superstar, that is.
She was smiling non stop, the big smiles that make the corner of your eyes crinkle up…you know the ones that I mean, right? Those kind of smiles really make me feel like I am doing my job well. I know just the right amount of ridiculous to bring a baby to the brink of laughter. Now, this was her first session so she isn’t so discriminating when it comes to comedy. She may think I am a total bore once she hits 8 months. Those sessions I sometimes have to rely heavily on mom for support when nothing I do can get their little one to crack a smile. But for now I just revel in the fact that she thinks I have a real future in stand up comedy.
So a big thank you to Leena for making my job as relatively easy as it can be. You were up for every outfit change. You laughed at all my jokes and you grabbed your toes at just the right moment. Thanks for rocking your session little girl. I am completely serious when I say I can’t wait to see you again!
I will be working on new material in the meantime 🙂
