Infant Portraits Blue Springs | Introducing the adorable Hudson

Introducing one of my sweetest little clients, Hudson. She was a total sleepyhead and I was easily able to get through my entire posed workflow as well as a few extra special request prop shots that momma really wanted.

Hudson’s daddy was not able to attend due to obligations with his work with the military, however, we were still able to create a father-daughter shot below that I really loved. Her momma brought in his jacket and said to be creative, incorporate it however I liked. In the past, I had swaddled babies and laid them on military gear, and shot from above. But on those occasions, their daddy was at the session and was able to be photographed with them. This time was a little different. I wanted to be sure I captured something special for him and for Hudson.

I clipped the jacket to a little chair to enable me to wrap the arms around the bucket that held Hudson. I think it gives a real sense of being in her father’s arms while honoring his service at the same time. I was really pleased with the final result and was happy to create a special image for this lovely family.
