Kansas City Newborn Photographer | Happiest Baby Ever
This session was hands down the fastest newborn session I have ever shot. Davis came in his car seat fast asleep and didn’t open his eyes or make a peep the entire session. He didn’t even eat. Only wanted to snooze. Nothing disturbed this guy. It was pretty amazing and we wrapped up in 1 hour 13 minutes. I am never going to forget that time because I don’t know if it will ever happen again. I shot every pose and every angle that I like to include in a gallery too.
Davis’ middle name is Fox, which I did see on his session questionnaire, but it didn’t occur to me to use my fox outfit. Luckily his momma had seen it used in a previous session and I grabbed it and used it on our second set up. I think he kind of loved it because when the fox hat went on, the smiles started coming. And they didn’t stop. This little guy smiled through two entire set ups. I included many of the smiling shots in this post. I didn’t even share all of them, believe it or not. It seems like I usually manage to capture at least one smile every session…even with the toughest of models. But Davis really out did himself. I will never stop getting excited when I capture a newborn smile. I love how their eyes crinkle and their face brightens up. It is pretty much the most adorable thing ever. Baby animal videos and baby smiles. Those are like top two on my list for most adorable things ever.
