Kansas City Newborn Photography | Cruz
Cruz is the second baby I have photographed for this sweet family and based on past experience I knew for certain he was going to be this adorable.
He was born on Christmas Eve and he came in to see me just after the New Year. He was just a little earlier than momma was hoping, but I know for certain he was her greatest gift this year.
For me, it is always such a blessing when clients come back to see me with each new baby. Maybe I won’t be able to shoot every milestone or holiday photo for every child in our client family, and that’s okay. However, being the one chosen to capture the very first images of a new little life is such an honor. Valentine’s photos will maybe get lost in the shuffle of life, but these photos are the ones that will hang on the walls of a home for a lifetime. These photos are the ones that will be shared over generations. These photos are the ones that Cruz’s children will compare their own newborn photos to many years down the road. When I think of the my job in those terms it kind of blows my mind a little bit, you know? And it makes me so thankful to be a part of this moment of his life.
