I am so far behind on blogging, just as I think most photographers are this time of year. I shoot family sessions in the summer and fall, with fall being my very busiest time of year. So on top of all the baby and newborn sessions it makes for my craziest time of year. And unfortunately I don’t have the opportunity to share as many of my sessions as I would like. I think I have found a way to work around this issue for 2015…hoping I can stick with the plan because all my little clients deserve some time in the spotlight.

While I won’t have time to add every last one of the sessions I shot the second half of 2014 , I am going to try to add newborn, baby and family sessions so you can all see what I have been up to!

I decided to start with Grace. No particular reason other than I opened her folder and fell in love with her all over again.

I of course had never met Grace before the session so when I laid eyes on her the first thing I thought was, “That HAIR!” Her hair was that amazing baby hair that goes every direction and makes her look like a fluffy baby chick. You know the kind that after it is just washed and rubbed dry with one of those hooded towels you can just bury your nose and smell the sweetness? Yeah, so she has that kind of hair. So while I do love the bonnets and hats I had to make sure to capitalize on the “awww” factor of her dark hair framing her sweet little face. Just look at her! So easy to love.

Give this girl a virtual hug and leave her momma some sweet comments!
